Staff/Volunteer Survey

Staff/Volunteers fill out an online form at the end of a session that focuses on perceived helpfulness of the session from the volunteer’s viewpoint, type of issues discussed in the sessions (e.g. rape, family relationships, health), type of services provided (e.g. police information, referral to local organization, supportive counseling) and types of infrastructure or service-related difficulties encountered in the session.   • What can be done to encourage staff/volunteers to fill out the survey after their last session?

  • Some staff may argue that the time used to fill out the survey would be better used in helping users of the service. As an evaluator, how would you respond to this?
